Darya Andijan

Born in the Uyghur region and based in the Netherlands.
She utilizes film, performance, and expanded cinema to reconnect fragmented histories and amplify women’s voices in Central Asia.
Her work weaves myths, poetry, and family history to challenge oppression and colonial erasure.
Through these practices, she creates spaces where forgotten histories are remembered and reimagined.
